Black girls deserve to have a space that is all their own. A place to be celebrated, to share similar experiences, to be encouraged, empowered, seen, and valued… Sadly, there are very few places like this in our communities.

 This is why I am launching Black Girls United, a brave space that can be formed as a student group at your school site this year via our online tool kit or as an after-school program or workshop if you are in the Bay Area.
